JIPMER 2018 Paper Analysis

JIPMER 2018 Question Paper comprised of 200 questions from 5 sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Comprehension, Logical and Quantitative Reasoning. The questions were based on the assertion and reasoning of the concepts. The question paper carried 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology respectively whereas there were 10 questions each on English Comprehension and Logical & Quantitative Reasoning. Physics was considered to be moderate in terms of difficulty and length. In all the difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. JIPMER was little easy going as there was no negative marking, and the English section was one of the scoring areas.

 

Logical & Quantitative Reasoning 

Questions asked in this section were mainly based on the reasoning and analysis. The questions are from the topics like which are readily asked in other competitive examinations. The difficulty level was always being easy in Logic & Quantitative Analysis. This was easiest of all the sections

 

Physics 

JIPMER MBBS questions are a blend of both theoretical and numerical type. Physics was indeed the most difficult sections as 8-10 questions were from maths section. The topics from the questions are formed are –

Chemistry 

Mainly chemistry questions are theoretical. It was of moderate difficulty level and was completely based on NCERT.  The topics for the formulation of the questions are –

Biology 

Biology was generally deemed to be moderately difficult, with some questions were out of NCERT syllabus. Most questions were conceptual
