AIIMS MBBS 2017 EXAM ANALYSIS

Difficulty level of AIIMS-MBBS 2017 was moderate and much easier than previous years papers.Maximum question were from syllabus of class 11th.Difficulty levels of both the slots morning and evening as more or less same. 

• Paper was divided into 4 sections- Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General knowledge.
• Total questions were 200 with 1 mark awarded for the every right answer and 1/3 deduction for the wrong attempt.
• Section A i.e. Physics, was of 60 marks and was the difficult of all. The questions were tricky and the section mostly involved the numerical based questions which were time consuming.
• Section B i.e. Chemistry, also of 60 marks involved questions of moderate difficulty level. Most of the questions were asked from organic chemistry and less time consuming as compared to the physics section.
• Section C i.e. Biology, consisted of 60 questions and was easier as compared to the other two sections. Most of the questions were asked from Photosynthesis.
• Section D was dedicated General Knowledge and was worth 20 marks.

 Physics:  Questions asked in the Physics section ranged from moderate to difficult and mostly the questions were from the class 11. Time management was must while attempting Physics section because it involved numerical based questions which were long and tricky and required some techniques and proper usage of formulas. 99% of the questions in Physics were calculative in nature.

Chemistry: Chemistry section was easier as compared to the previous section. Most of the questions were asked from Organic Chemistry and the section was less time consuming because of the moderate difficulty level. The section consisted of some numerical and most of the questions were theoritical. Some questions were difficult but overall the paper was average. It was easier than the physics section overall.

Biology: Difficulty level of the questions asked in the Biology section ranged from easy to moderate. The section was the least time consuming because the questions were direct and easy to answer.

General Knowledge And Logical Reasoning:
The Section consists of 20 marks and questions are generally asked regarding current affairs and also involves some general questions. This time in AIIMS MBBS 2017, questions were very simple and easy to answer.
